
Our Policies
Your commitment to attending scheduled therapy sessions is essential for the success of your treatment. Therapists at Grounded Roots Therapy (GRT) offer appointments on designated days each week. If your therapist’s schedule fills, they may not have additional availability, and missed sessions can impact both your progress and the therapist’s schedule.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify your therapist directly by phone at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide 24-hour notice will result in a charge for the full session fee, which will be processed using the credit card on file. This fee must be paid before your next session and prior to continuing treatment.

Illness or Emergency
If you become ill or experience an emergency, please contact your therapist directly as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel your appointment. In cases of sudden illness or emergency, the late cancellation fee may be waived, but this will be determined by your therapist upon verification of the illness or emergency. However, if you do not notify your therapist in advance, even due to illness, the full session fee may still apply.

No-Show Policy
If you miss a scheduled appointment without notifying your therapist, all future appointments will be canceled. To avoid this, please contact your therapist as soon as possible if you cannot attend.

Tardiness Policy
If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, your session will still end at the scheduled time, and you will be charged for the full session. We kindly ask that you arrive on time to ensure the best possible experience.
